Rudy Pollet

Biography of Rudy

As a masseur and carer, Rudy Pollet has one of the toughest jobs in cycling. In addition to administering riders evening massages and looking after their aches and pains after a long day in the saddle, Rudy also ensures helps with race day logistics, preparing food and bottles, and running operations in the feed zone.

Born in Brugge, Rudy picked up a love for cycling when he was young and started to race as a 16-year-old. He was introduced to Deceuninck – Quick-Step by his friend and mechanic Kurt Roose, and it soon became evident that his skills and knowledge could become a valuable part of operations.

When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog, running and cooking.
