Kevin Verstaen

Biography of Kevin

Kevin has experience of working with cycling teams at several different levels before he joined Deceuninck – Quick-Step, a team he describes as ‘the greatest family in cycling’.

Kevin was born in Waregem, before moving to the village of Waregem, which is just 3 km from the fabled Oude Kwaremont. In his youth he was a competitive cyclist, before spending several years working with an under 16 team. In 2016 he was offered the chance to work with the BMC under-23 team, which he did for two years, when the team was disbanded. This was when Kevin joined Deceuninck – Quick-Step, where he is about to start his second season.

When not with the team Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and his friends, as well as being a passionate supporter of Zulte Waregem.
