Biography of Dominique

A passion for cycling was passed to Dominique by his father, who spent 35 years as a Sports Director for a small Belgian team.

It was under this influence that Dominique, who was born in Gent, trained as bicycling mechanic. He has stayed in the sport that he has loved since 1991, working for various teams before joining Deceuninck – Quick-Step in 2008.

He still retains a love for riding his bike, which he maintains he always will. Away from cycling he enjoys listening to music and relaxing at home.
