To celebrate a performance that the Emerald Isle last witnessed 31 years ago, we’re launching a “Green belongs to Ireland” sticker, which shows Sam celebrating with a spectacular dismount on the day that saw him cement his points classification lead, midway through the race.
Having the famous Tour Eiffel and the shamrock – the iconic symbol of Irish heritage and culture – as background, this image of our rider is set to become inextricably linked with Sam’s sparkling performance at the 2020 Tour de France in his very first season with Deceuninck – Quick-Step.
